AMS3307 Silicone Sheeting & Uncured Compounds
AMS3307 silicone meets an SAE Aerospace Material Specification for a low compression set, non-oil-resistant solid silicone rubber (VMQ elastomer) with a Shore A hardness of 70 durometer (typically 65 to 75).
AMS3307 specifies a silicone rubber formulated for static sealing applications where long-term recovery, high thermal stability, and low compression set are required, with an operating temperature range typically from -67°F to 392°F (-55°C to 200°C).
AMS3307 Silicone Properties
Key characteristics of AMS 3307 silicone rubber:
Hardness: 70 durometer Shore A (65–75 range).
Temperature Resistance: Operates across a temperature range of -67°F to 392°F (-55°C to 200°C) while maintaining flexibility.
Compression Set Resistance:Â Specially compounded for low compression set to maintain long-term sealing force under continuous pressure.
Chemical & Environmental Resistance: Resistant to ozone, smog, weathering, UV, and oxidation. It is non-oil-resistant and not intended for use with petroleum-based fluids, fuels, or lubricants due to swelling.
Material:Â Solid silicone rubber (VMQ elastomer).
Forms:Â Supplied in sheets, strips, tubing, extrusions, uncured compounds, and custom molded shapes.
